After that, he managed to shut up and focus on listening for anyone coming after them. Twenty minutes later, Hattori gestured quickly for the two of them to lay low and stay quiet. Fortunately the forest was dark and the thugs looking for them seemed to be doing a pretty poor job of a thorough search. It wasn't too long before any sound coming from the band of men disappeared into the night again.
