Hattori frowned. There was something off about the way he was being talked to, but he was distracted by the rest of the instructions to figure out how. “Right.” He agreed and got up. Or tried to. It took three attempts but he was finally vertical and not swaying. Picking up the smaller boy, he put him on his shoulders and... needed to be reminded what he was supposed to do next.
At least he was being obedient?
It took awhile- probably more than necessary- before they could finally hear sounds of a car rumbling by. It didn’t sound like the professor’s but Hattori hurried to try and catch sight of it before it vanished down the road. He wasn’t quite fast enough but he didn’t fall either! However, Conan could feel how much the other boy was sweating and struggling to keep this up.
